Following a review and development of new Sembcorp Next-of-Kin Family Response Guidelines, covering procedures and responsibilities before, during and after an incident, Senior Management at Sembcorp requested Restrata to design and deliver Breaking Bad News Training for Management. 


Restrata designed and delivered the requirement based around Sembcorp guidelines with 6 key aims 


  • To provide an awareness of the issues surrounding breaking bad news 
  • To provide an understanding of how to communicate such news 
  • To help prepare for delivering bad news 
  • To describe how to pass such a message 
  • To help with the words and phrases to use / not to use 
  • To provide you with the opportunity of skills practice
