BACKGROUND 

Aggreko is one of the leading global Power solutions company. With operations in well over 100 countries, they continue to allow their clients around the world to improve their productivity, manage power demands and plan for emergencies. With over 6000 employees worldwide, Aggreko have a strong Health and Safety policy and Duty of Care to their employees and clients. Ensuring their staff are thoroughly trained for the operational environments they will be working in is of paramount importance to them at a corporate, regional and operational level. 

PROJECT

Restrata were asked to deliver a range of training solutions in order to faciliate full compliance within their competency framework. This included personal safety, safe handling of equipment, use of equipment on operations.  

Understanding the remote nature of requirements, Restrata developed a training methodology and roll out schedule that was delivered both centrally at Aggreko Regional offices, as well as on site locations. This was planned in order to reduce the operational donwtime to as low as reasonably possible, therefore allowing Aggreko to focus on their core role. 

By mobilising highly qualifed Restrata Trainers to Aggreko’s remote locations of operation, we were able to make significant savings to Aggreko and minimal disruption. In addition, Insurance premiums have been reduced due to the recognition of the training provided and the reduction in risk for Aggreko.

  • First Person on Scene medical training (FPOS) 

 

Provision of Incident Management Centre (IMC) Response Services, Emergency Response Training and Consultancy

Restrata provided a 24 hour on-call Incident Management Centre (IMC) (Emergency Response Service Centre) for BG between July 2012 and November 2016, prior to their acquisition by Shell.
