About US

Born on the frontline.
Built for what comes next.

We didn't set out to build software. We set out to solve the operational challenges we experienced firsthand.

Restrata was founded by practitioners working in some of the world's most complex, high-threat environments. Long before resilienceOS, we saw organisations trying to make critical decisions with fragmented information and no shared operational picture. That's why we built a platform that connects people, intelligence and operations—giving teams the confidence to protect people, maintain continuity and respond when it matters most.

In 2019, we set out to build the platform the market desperately needed: an open, unified resilience platform capable of connecting people, assets, sites, journeys and threats into a single operational picture, in real time. That became resilienceOS – the foundation for Connected Resilience.

Yet we never left the frontline. Today, our teams continue to support organisations around the world through our Resilience Operations Centre, advisory services and incident response capabilities. The lessons learned from real-world operations continue to shape resilienceOS every day, ensuring the platform evolves alongside the organisations that rely on it.

We don't only design for operators. We are operators.

Our mission is simple: give organisations the confidence to protect people, maintain continuity and respond decisively when it matters most.

The formula for
Connected Resilience

Everything we build leads to one place: a state where every threat, data point, process, and operation is connected, so organisations can prepare better, respond faster, and recover stronger.

Connected Resilience is what happens when human expertise, trusted software, and operational AI work together on a foundation of connected, reliable data.

Human judgement

provides context, accountability, and experience. When situations become complex, people make the final call.

Software precision

creates a trusted operational picture. One source of truth. Real-time visibility. Reliable data that removes uncertainty.

AI interpretation

creates a trusted operational picture. One source of truth. Real-time visibility. Reliable data that removes uncertainty.

Take any one away, and the response breaks.
Together, they create Connected Resilience.

Proven in the field, not just in the demo.

From global energy majors to offshore fleets, the world's most demanding operators run on resilienceOS.

No one unaccounted for.

Real-time personnel-on-board, rapid mustering, mass comms that hold even when the network drops. At one of the world's largest energy companies, everyone is counted — every time.

Whole fleet. One view.

Emergency response across a global offshore fleet, run from a single operational picture — with Restrata's team beside theirs the moment a crisis hits.

Every source. One picture.

Vehicle tracking, weather, maritime, access control, video — once scattered across systems, now a single real-time view, with one-tap SOS for executives on the move.

What makes us different

/01

Operating confidence starts with people

You can't protect your people if you don't know where they are. Yet most organisations rely on fragmented systems and incomplete data, leaving teams uncertain about who is affected when an incident occurs.

Our open ecosystem of integrations combined with the Location Confidence engine draws on every available data source, weighs how reliable each is, and resolves them into the single most probable location for every person — updating in real time, across an entire workforce. In crisis management, you need to know it's 47 people in the danger zone, not "approximately 50."

/02

Always secure
and reliable

Our competitors trap customers in closed systems — one vendor's software, threat data, and services, take it or leave it. We chose the opposite. Any risk intelligence vendor, any assistance provider, your own dashboards and tools — all welcome. Your data stays yours. Your choices stay yours.

/03

One platform.
One data model.

Most platforms in our category are several different products acquired and bolted together, with separate databases that were never designed to work as one. The result is fragmented workflows, duplicated data, and competing versions of the truth.

resilienceOS was built from the ground up as a single unified system, with one source of truth at its core. Modules switch on as you need them. Open APIs connect to whatever you build next. A genuine system of record for resilience — and a unified data hub laying the foundation for what's next.

resilienceOS gives us a 360° view of risk, integrating threat intelligence, travel records, access control, and more into one operating picture. It saves hours and acts as a force multiplier for our global security team.
