Experience drawn from working in the industry has created Restrata’s integrated, end-to-end risk & resilience management solution.
Restrata is now a global technology company, with strong heritage of delivering resilience software across the globe. Restrata software & services operate in over 40+ countries, we have built a reputation where we are trusted by 7 of the 10 largest energy companies worldwide, with a 24/7 operations centre in Aberdeen, UK which supports the wider global support teams in US and UAE.

Chris St. George
Chris has been Restrata’s co-founder and Chairman since 2006. He is an investor, entrepreneur and business operator with a 20-year track record of building business and creating shareholder value. Delivering consistent and high returns, operating in some of the world’s most challenging emerging markets and complex sectors.
Botan Osman
Botan has 20+ years' experience in the software & security sector. He co-founded restrata software venture in 2019.  Previously a government and multinational advisor and exec on technology working on projects with Microsoft, Google, IBM, PwC, Cisco & others.
Tim Surridge
Tim is an experienced finance professional with a track record of working with growth companies to create value. He was the CFO of Olive Group, a Dubai based security solution provider, and was previously CFO and an Executive Director at Dangote Cement plc, Nigeria’s largest cement producer.
Nick Wright
As CPO, Nick is responsible for driving Restrata’s global product strategy and operations. With over 20 years in product and technology, Nick has successfully built and exited a number of SaaS startups including co-founding Crowdicity, a global leader in Enterprise Collaboration software. Crowdicity was successfully acquired by Madallia Inc and continues to thrive.
David Ives
As CTO, David drives the Technology function to scale the current platform and deliver new product lines. David has over 20 years of experience in Technology, with more than 15 as a technical leader. Throughout his career, David has led organisations in sectors including Fintech, Healthtech and Martech. His focus has always been building exceptional teams to deliver business growth.
Anna Sheward
Anna is responsible for all people functions, overseeing the company’s HR and Recruiting operations. Anna has over 15 years of HR and Recruitment leadership experience, holding positions including Head of Resourcing, and Group HR Manager for Olive Group. She started her career working as a headhunter focused on emerging markets.

Emily McDonald
Emily is responsible for all Customer Success activities at Restrata. Her experience sits firmly in delivering customer value, and ensuring customers are set up for success from onboarding and implementation, through to launch and beyond. Emily brings experience in managing customer projects across a range of technology focused industries in both public and private sectors.
Tim Willis
Tim's focus is to grow the business with existing and new clients across various industries. With over 20 years in the military and corporate security spheres, he has extensive security operations experience having supported clients in managing crises across Africa and the Middle East, working for some of the world's leading risk consultancies and security assistance companies.
Greg Simpson
Greg joined Restrata in 2019 and is responsible for the delivery of services for existing and new customers across Restrata's solutions, with a focus on incident and crisis management, continuity preparedness, 24/7 monitoring and response. Greg has helped global organisations achieve resilience and improve their response at local, regional and global levels.
Talal Shawwa
Talal drives go-to-market plans for Restrata’s software sales in Middle East & Africa. He has over 20 years of experience and track record of achievement in MEA and GCC in particular. Before joining Restrata, he worked in sales leadership roles at Hexagon ALI, PAS Global, Oracle and Bentley Systems.Â
Christian Ronnow
Christian is responsible for leading the American market and delivering our technologies and services to discerning clients across the US. A retired Senior Military Officer with over three decades of international experience in challenging and high threat environments, he spent a decade in different roles with Olive Group, the former parent company to Restrata.

Mike Osborne
Mike Osborne is the former VP Global Security and CSO for Kinross Gold Corporation based in Toronto, Ontario. Upon retirement, Mike began providing advisory services for Mining, Manufacturing and Technology companies. Mike is a security professional with over 30+ years of combined federal law enforcement and international corporate security experience. Mike’s areas of expertise include conducting complex fraud investigations throughout the world, developing and implementing security compliance and governance programs, and managing multifaceted global security matters.
Bruce McIndoe
Bruce McIndoe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, with a proven 30+ year track record in risk management, security, travel, and intelligence industries. As President of McIndoe Risk Advisory, Bruce has spearheaded initiatives to help organisations achieve Agile Operational Resiliency, a testament to his innovative approach in navigating complex risk landscapes. With a distinguished career as the founder and CEO of companies like WorldAware (iJET) and CSSi (Inc500), Bruce has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions to enhance operational resilience and business continuity.Â
Alex Baird
Zimbabwean born entrepreneur with interests in Energy, Telecommunications, Mining, Agriculture and the Petroleum sectors. Alex holds a postgraduate (MBA) in International Business and is an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer by profession. Over the last 25 years, Alex has been predominantly involved in the acquisition and delivery of large scale technology focused Infrastructure projects for National Oil companies.
John Yourston
John is a highly experienced security and business sector professional with a proven track record of commercial success. Following an accomplished  career in the British Army, he transitioned to the commercial sector and as a founding director of Olive Group, was instrumental in building a small start up company in a niche sector of the security market to a multimillion dollar turnover, technology integration and training organisation.
